Historically, this patient was struck by an automobile in August 2009. The muzzle was deviated toward the right which resulted in exposure of the left mandibular canine tooth when this patient closed her mouth.

Intraoral radiographs reveled communication fractures of the maxillary, nasal, vomer, and incisive bones, along with fractures of the nasal turbinates.
